Stable surfaces
GODELMANN spacers on bricks and slabs create a positive and non-positive bond

Braking, accelerating, maneuvering - every traffic load generates dynamic forces. On traffic areas subject to heavy loads, the proPower interlocking system secures the pavement against horizontal displacement. The interlocking spacers formed on four stone sides interlock with each other and, together with the completely filled joints, form a force-fit paving bond with load distribution and load transfer over the entire surface. The added stability for intersections and junctions, tight bends, slopes and other heavily loaded areas.

Depending on the system, the spacers are staggered at 4.0 cm or 5.0 cm intervals and are no longer visible once the joint has been filled.

When planning, it must be noted that only block formats can be combined within a proPower system. You can find a detailed list of stone formats in our format overview.

proPower 8 - 3D toothing system

The bricks have four differently shaped, conical spacers. Together with the jointing material, they form a positive and non-positive bond with a high resistance to horizontal and vertical displacement. Compared to conventional interlocking systems, more paving stones are involved in the transfer of dynamic traffic loads.

The 3D interlocking system is designed for surfaces subject to extremely high loads. ProPower 8 ensures stability and has proven high resistance to displacement, tilting, tearing and sinking. The laid and grouted surface withstands mechanical loads and is permanently stable against deformation.

Preventing displacement - GDM.anchor plate

Durable traffic areas under traffic load are the goal of every urban development measure.

Practical experience shows that conventional bonded spacers on stone in areas subject to particularly high traffic loads, e.g. stopping points, junctions, turning points, etc., are not always effective: Stopping points, junctions, turning areas, slopes or areas with lane-running traffic, are often not sufficient to protect pavements from shifting.

As stone inventors, we also develop solutions to make heavily loaded areas of traffic surfaces more stable against displacement. With the development of the GDM.anchor plate, individual stones in the surface are equipped with a kind of "spike". This gives the traffic area more stability against displacement and twisting in the case of non-directional or track-directed traffic and thus protects the entire surface structure. The system is patent pending.

Advantages at a glance

  • Suitable for almost any format and multi-brick systems
  • Independent of the interlocking system and spacer geometry
  • Placement with the laying progress, situation-related and precisely at the intended position
  • Three-point anchoring is equally effective against shear and shear forces
  • Reduction of displacement movements in turning, stopping and starting areas
