The timber construction company Aumann, which focuses entirely on individual detached houses, can also do things differently, namely higher and larger. The company's own administration building in the Swabian town of Ziemetshausen, a three-storey building to passive house standard with around 1,900 square meters of floor space, is a prime example of this. The design of the outdoor facilities contrasts with the straight-lined architecture and uses gently curved shapes to create an independent and appealing presence.
