Facades & Double Walls

Facades and double walls play a key role in shaping a building’s architectural character. They are far more than just an outer shell: as the interface between interior and exterior spaces, they fulfil functional roles such as weather protection, thermal insulation and soundproofing – whilst at the same time creating scope for individual design, materiality and structure.

High-quality façade solutions are becoming increasingly important, particularly in contemporary construction. They convey identity, emphasise the architectural concept and make a decisive contribution to the longevity and enduring value of buildings.

Textured façade panels made of architectural concrete

Textured façade panels made of architectural concrete open up a wide range of design possibilities for both interior and exterior spaces. With their precise surface texture and striking colour scheme – such as anthracite – they create clear architectural accents and lend façades depth and character.

The handcrafted façade panels are made from high-performance concrete and meet the highest technical and design requirements. The use of colour-coordinated natural stone chippings and sands, as well as UV-resistant iron oxide pigments, results in permanently colour-fast surfaces with exposed concrete quality of Class SB4.

Thanks to their weather resistance, moisture resistance and ease of maintenance, the façade panels are ideally suited to demanding projects – from private residential buildings to large-scale, urban architectural concepts. Whether with a calm, smooth finish or a dynamic wavy profile: the façade panels create vibrant façade designs with a high-quality finish.

Thermal double walls – efficient, durable and customisable

Thermal double walls are precast double-shell walls in which high-quality insulation is securely embedded between the two concrete shells. This protects the insulation material from fire, mechanical damage and the elements, thereby contributing to the longevity of the precast concrete element.

The energy-saving core insulation is efficiently applied to the inside of the outer shell at the factory, thereby minimising on-site installation times. The use of concrete as a heat storage medium ensures a consistent and comfortable room temperature.

Thermal double walls can be custom-made to order, with variable wall thicknesses of up to 60 cm, different insulation thicknesses and U-values of up to 0.13 W/(m²·K). They combine maximum energy efficiency with handcrafted surfaces made from GDM high-performance concrete in exposed concrete class SB4, and are therefore
